Privacy Policy

Unhurried is a Mac teleprompter made by KindridStudio (“we,” “us”). This policy covers the Unhurried app and this website, getunhurried.app.

The app

• No account. You don’t sign up for anything, and we never learn who you are.
• Your content stays on your Mac. Scripts, Visual Cue images, settings and your Gaston’s Trail progress are stored in the app’s own sandboxed folder on your Mac. They aren’t synced or uploaded anywhere.
• No network access. The app has no permission to connect to the internet, so it can’t send anything anywhere. Links in the app, such as the one to our other app, open in your web browser.
• No analytics, ads or tracking. We don’t measure how you use the app.
• Share Safe. To warn you when a meeting or screen-recording app is on screen, Unhurried checks which apps currently have windows open, using standard macOS features. It looks at app names only, never window contents, and it doesn’t store or send what it sees.
• Images you add. When you choose or paste an image as a Visual Cue, Unhurried keeps its own copy in the app’s folder so the cue keeps working if the original moves.

To remove everything, delete a script in the app, or delete the app itself. macOS removes its folder along with it.

This website

getunhurried.app uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. It’s hosted by Vercel, which, like any web host, processes standard request information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you.

Children

Unhurried doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
